United Kingdom Prime Minister Liz Truss was just seen yesterday saying that '"I am not a quitter," however, just after 24 hours, she has resigned.

Truss has become the shortest-serving PM in the UK. She resigned just after 45 days in office.

"I cannot deliver the mandate on which I was elected by the Conservative Party"BBC Quoted Truss as saying.

"I am resigning as the leader of the Conservative party. I will remain as Prime Minister until a successor has been chosen," Truss said while addressing the media after her resignation.

Labour Leader Sir Keir Starmer called for a general election just after the resignation.
